I'll be your Elderberry!

At Popple Tree Creek Farms we’re known for our amazing elderberry syrup and other wonderfully healthy and delicious elderberry products. We believe in nurturing both the body and the land. In the Spring 2021 We started the farm with a little over one acre of Sambucus Canadinsis - American Black elderberry. Please go to our About page to keep up with the farm and to learn all about American Elderberry as well as other farm, garden and homesteading information from our family at

Popple Tree Creek Farms!

It has been a long winter for us. Last summer was unforgiving and dry on this first year farmer family we survived. This winter has been typically cold and snowy buy abnormally long. As of witting this on 4/13/2022 we are experiencing what will hopefully be our last accumulating snow event of the year this week.

We have big things planned for 2022, click the picture to see how our winter went and check back often to see how spring 2022 goes for us.

Summer update...lots went on this summer, severe drought, cutting failures, weeds, weeds and more weeds, all while trying to build the value added side with Elderberry Syrups too. Lots of lessons learned for this first year elderberry farmer. Click the picture for more pictures and the rest of the story.

We got our first acre of Elderberry planted on Popple Tree Creek farms. Click the picture to learn more about our latest adventure.

A bunch of Elderberry cutting waiting for spring to come so they can be planted in the ground.

I may be the northernmost Elderberry farmer in the United States???

I have selected two varieties that I am most confident to start out with ' Ranch ' and ' Adams '

GOD willing every thing goes smooth
